Prague Dragon Autumn 2015 Festival Programme

This year will introduce to you well known races with new featrues but also a completely new race - the small boats competition for 10 paddlers. There will be dance and other performances this year as well.

Preliminary time schedule of Prague Dragon Autumn 2015:

Saturday 12.9.2015

  8:30 - Festival area opening
  8:45 - Teams registration start
  9:15 - Captains meetiing
  9:30 - Opening ceremony - Awakening of the dragon

10:00 - Racing block start
          - race for 200 meters - qualification -MIX and Woman cathegory
          - Indonesian boats race for 600 meters
          - 1000 meters long distance race

          In 250 meters race first the qualification, semifinals and final races. The schedule of race will be announced affter finishing of signup.

Note: During the day will be the entries of the cultural programme. You can notice them at the bottom of the page.

inmediatelly after end approx.
18:40 - Prize handlig ceremony
19:30 - Official closing ceremony
19:45 - Final dragons dance and Sleeping dragon ceremony

After the ceremony the music follows, dragon bar and party in the festival area.

22:00 - End of music and official end of the festival

Complementary programme:
Entry in the festival area is free all day!

Children rides - according to demands and possible boat capacities we will perform free children rides for kids and their parents. Kids aged 5-15 can enter the boat only with an adult. Children 15+ alone. Children under 5 years are not allowed. More info about the rides and registration at the organizer tent. Rides are FREE of charge. 

Refreshments - during the whole day and evening there will be available to buy food and drink including the czech beer. Also non-alcoholic beverages will be on sale.

Chill-out zone - Area for those who are not currently racing where you can rest but also be active in preperation for next race! More info soon.

The most enthusiastic team competetion - A competetion where you can show your dragon spirit. For both days our refereees will evaluate your effort, enthusiasm and spirit you will put in the dragon boat event. 

Dragon dance party - after the races from 20 till 22 (and maybe little longer) we invite you to the Draogon party. You can celebrate your victory or drink for the loose. Both is possible.

Professional journalists and photographers are kindly requested for registration at the organizer office. Registration is FREE of charge but we would like to be informed about your presence and we will give you assistance if needed.
