Dear friends, sportsmen and dragonboaters!!!
Prague Dragon Boat Club invites you to the dragon boat festival

We invite you the the memorial 10th year of the festival that is a union dragonboat sport, culture and fun. This year the festival will be held on:

in the Caravan Camping area on the Císařská louka island in Prague.

On your demands we decided that this year's festival will be once again one day only. But the races will remain the same. That means that you can expect whole day filled with races in fast pace so we can make it everything happen. Because there is not only the sport part - but also the fun part.

The racing part of the festival will consist from several sprint and long track races on certified hong-kong style boats (IDBF certification) but also the unique indonesian style dragon boat races. The festvial is open to all teams including sport teams and amateur teams who will be grouped according to their performance. Like in previous years we do expect international races with participation of teams from Czech republic, Germany, Poland and Slovakia.

The traditional indonesian boats race - The Tanjung Pinang cup - will be held once again. The beautiful decorated indonesiang boats will sailed once again and will show you a different style of dragonboating.

The sheduled races:
- short 250 meters track on hongkong style boats
- this race is announced also in WOMAN cathegory
- long 1000 meters track with a turn
- "Tanjung-Pinangu Cup" - race on traditional indonesian boats on the track of 600 m with a turn
- recessive Boat pulling race
- and a special event "The most enthusiastic team" - competition for teams and teammembers, where the most beautiful dress, the loudest war cry, the strongest fair-play feeling can get you a special award from our club.

Cultural programm

The cultural progam will include traditional and also new performances. Among many you can expect:
- Awakening of the dragon - traditional dance exhibition that brings new figures every year.
- Free rides on the dragon boat for kids.
- Exotical dance exhibitions and a special evening surprise like every time.
- This year also exclusive fashion show on the catwalk pier
- And some music for the evening

LOOKING FORWARD FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!

Important note!!! The festival area is very well accesible by public transport (tram, bus, ferry) and there are limited options for parking of cars. Therefore we please you to use the Public transport in first place.
If you will come with a car you can park but you must expect the paid parking on Císařské louka island. This paid parking will be organized by our club - At arrival you will contact the Parking service that will tell you where and how to park. The parking fee is 30,- CZK per hour. Only cash and CZK accepted.
