Prague Dragon Boat Club

IMPORTANT - The Official City Fireworks will not be held this year. Still you can join us on new year's dragon BOAT RIDE. We will paddle the boat down the stream to Karluv most (Charles bridge) we will go through the so called "prague venice" around Kampa and Čertovka.

Please accept our appology for bringing this information so late. We are very sorry. WE WILL PADDLE!

Join us again for the fourth time allready on our boat trip to the new year Firework of the Prague City. The firework is fired from a boat near the Čechův most bridge at 18 o'clock on th 1st January 2011

We will go to the Charles bridge or any other good place to have a clear view to the fireworks. Everybody is invited. All you need is warm clothingm will to padle and courage.

If you are interested, please contact us! We will give you more information and count you in the crew. Don't worry we have four boats there is enough space for everybody.

The meeting time for this event is 15:30 at our boat house on Cisarska louka island because we need to prepare the boat and padlle down the river. Expected return time to our boathouse is approx 20:00.

What to take with you:
- Warm clothes, we will sit on a boat - waterproof jacket is the best joice, better have more thin layers than heavy coat
- some drinks or food - warm drinks recommended
- lanterns, flashlights and other lights - so we can be seen on the river
- good mood and nice smile

Boats, life jackets, paddles, steerman and all other equipment is provided by our club free of charge.

Event is automatically canceled during severe weather, heavy rain or snowfall and storm.
