Prague Dragon Boat Club

Year 2013 will be started in the Prague Dragon Boat Club by the new year ride on a dragon boat. It will be the 6th year of this event. And it will be a ride towards the Prague Municipal Fireworks.

Actual info - it was decided, that the Prague Municipal Firework will be held on 1st January at 18:01 hodin It will be fired from a ponton between the Charles bridges and Strelecky Ostrov island so it will be for us again a ride into the city center.

What to carry on:
Warm clothes, better more than less. Waterproof top is recommended. Will not swim, but water will spash.
Be prepared for freeze and siting in a boat.
We will paddle to warm us up, but it is good to have a blanket or extra coat for the steady part.
Raincoat in reserve is good.

Good mood and smile is necessary. You can take a lantern or other light so the Prague can see us.

Take hot drinks and food at your will. We can load things in boat

Boat, paddles, life jackets are provided by our club.

The event is cancelled in case of heavy rain. Snow is ok, we will go. Watch this site for updates.

Program:
15:30 - meeting at the boathouse
16:30 - start heading towards city center
17:30 - ride around Charles bridge waiting for fireworks
18:00 - FIREWORKS
19:00 - heading back to our boathouse
20:00 - arrival to boathouse
21:00 - end of event

The time is informative and it can be change during event. The end is estimated is very dependant on weather, traffic and others. Calculate with delays!!!
