Prague Dragon Boat Club

We invite all dragon boats friends to join us on a traditional ride in Prague city center on New Year's Day. WE WILL SAIL ON WATER IN MORE THAN 30 PEOPLE. AND WE STILL HAVE FREE SEATS!!!

The 5th year of this ride will be a little different that the others before. Our goal will be the "Prague Venice" That means we will pass through the Smichov lock and then we will settle on a romantic tour around the Charles bridge and the Old town mills. We will also try to reach in Čertovka river as far as it is possible. The beautifull sightseeing tour will led us through all the best from city center.

Finally we will also have a sport part when we need to go back to our boathouse on Cisarska louka island.

This ride is open to all wide public. Childrens aged 10 or more are allowed in company of their parents. We will borrow you all the necessary equipment - paddle, security floating jacket and the place in boat as well :-) The only condition is that you must paddle to make the boat move. Dont forget to book your place in the boat!

Meeting at the boathouse 1.1.2012 at 15:30! It is necessary to prepare the boat!

We are leaving the boathouse at 16:15. Return approx. at 20:00 depending on the traffic through the lock.

What to take:
- Warm clothes according to the weather. Better more than sorry. It is cold near the water. (blanket to cover legs is recommended). Waterproof clothes appreciated.
- lanterns or other light to make us visible on water.
- good mood
- hot drinks for warming according to your taste (there is enough space in the boat to carry additional supplies)

Event is cancelled in case of heavy rain or strong wind! Snowfall is not a problem! Follow the latest information!

Make a reservation on time! Inform us about the number of people who will come in the boat! Otherwise we can not grant you place in boat
